SHOOTING
NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP OUTDOOR MINIATURE MATCHES Arrangements have been made for holding a North Island out-door miniature rifle championship meeting in conjunction with the annual .303 championship rifle meeting to be held on the Putiki range next week. This will be the first out door miniature rifle •championship fixture held in this island, and it is expected to prove a big success. Five matches, including a teams’ match, are included on the programme, and £27 will be given away in each of the four individual matches, divided into 25 prizes. Entries will close wth Mr L. R. Spurdie on December 27. The miniature shooting will take place on December 29, immediately following the .303 meeting.
