Some time ago a slip occurred at the mouth of the Moana Stream, preventing children from paddling in a shallow pool. A dam has now been constructed by the •council workmen with the result that a pool some two feet six inches deep has been formed, providing excellent, bathing facilities for children. The council is also cutting down lupins and thistles at the beach, improvements which are appreciated by those who frequent it.
