MAIL TRAIN DELAYED
INCIDENT IN WAIRARAPA SMALL BRIDGE BURNED. [ Per Press Association. 1 MASTERTON, Dec. 5. A small railway bridge on the south side of Pigeon Bush was found to be on fire this afternoon, and the down mail train was held up, it being necessary to transfer passengers to the other side. Thc beams on one side and the sleepers were burnt through. Temporary repairs were made and the evening train to Mastortou was able to cross.
