APPOINTMENT OF PRINCIPAL. [per Pres, association. 1 WELLINGTON, Dec. 5. Provision for the appointment of, a principal of Victoria University, Go lege is made in a Bill introduced House of Representatives to-day. The appointment is to bo made by the College Council from members of the Professional Board, and during intervals between the meetings tho Professional Board principal is to exercise thc powers of the board subject to the control of the council and to the right ot appeal of the board. He is also, by virtue of his office, to be a member ot the council and chairman of tho Professional Board. _____
