Mr. T. E. Armitage gave an interesting address to the Wanganui and District Development League last evening, speaking on points of interest in a recent trip to England and Canada. Perry, LL.B., of the staff of St. George’s School, Wanganui, who has been appointed deputy-chief librarian of the Wellington City Council’s Public Libraries, will enter upon his duties in Wellington on December 18. Mr. Perry is the eldest sen of the Rev. Charles Perry, vicar of St. Michael’s. He was at Christ’s College from .1917 to 1926. Guests registered at the Rutland Hotel include: —Mr. C. D.
