FASCISM IN AUSTRIA
THREAT TO DEMOCRACY. BRITISH LABOUR’S CONCERN. LONDON, Oct. 12. The National Labour Council, comprising the Trade Union Congress, Labour Party, and Parliamentary Labourites, considered the Austrian situation and made a statement that Austrian democracy and the workers’ organisations are threatened by Fascism, which has already destroyed the political and industrial freedom of Germany and Italy. The council is arranging a campaign of meetings in Britain to support the Austrians’ struggle for freedom.
