PING PONG. An enthusiastic meeting of the Ping Pong Club was held on Tuesday evening when about 40 members were present. Mr F. Heise was appointed secretary and treasurer, and Mr D. Saywell, cub captain. A handicap committee was formed and the handicapping of all players is being drawn up. It is the intention of the dub to play a tournament against the Rangiwahia Club at an early date. CROQUET CLUB SHOP The Mangaweka Croquet Club held a successful shop in Phillips’ Hall on Thursday. A fine array of vegetables, takes and general produce was displayed for sale and good business was done. EUCHRE f There was again a large attendance of players present at the Anglican Guild euchre tournament, which was held on Fridav evening. The prizewinners were Mrs Whitcombe and Mr R-att. HARRIERS A meeting of the Harrier Club committee is to be held on Tuesday evening, when arrangements will be made for the next event. The Mangaweka R.S.A. Harrier Challenge Cup is to be run for at the next meeting and it is anticipated that a large number of competitors will take part.
