WANGANUI CLUB TRIP TO MASTERTON BENSON TROPHY COMPETITION To-morrow tho Wanganui Harrier Club will race with tho Mastertou Hur ricr Club in tho second of the two annual races for the Benson Trophy. The event will Like place at Masterton, tho Wanganui team leaving early on Saturday morning to be at Masterton in good time for tho race. Members travelling are requested to meet at tho Imperial Hotel at 6.30 a.m Much interest attaches to the event, inasmuch as tho Wanganui Club has never yet defeated the Al asterton Club on its own course. The Wanganui team has a substantial lead of 174 points on tho first race and Alasterton will do all in its power to reduce that deficit. I’ho president, Air. C. R. White, will travel with the team and it is anticipated that forty members will make the trip.
