RUSSIAN OIL LANDS
GRANT BY SOVIET VALIDITY UPHELD NEW YORK, July 12. An Albany message states that the Court of Appeal has upheld the validity of 30,000,000 dollars in oil land grants given to the Standard Oil and Vacuum Companies by the Soviet Government. The Court held that “the existing Government cannut be ignored by this State, so far as the validity of its acts in Russia arc concerned.”
