NELSON COLLEGE
MEW PRINCIPAL SELECTED. [ Per Press Association. 1 , NELSON, May 18. Out of 28 applicants Mr. H. 1. Searle, for 11 years on the staff of the Nelson College", has been selected by the Board of Governors for appointment as principal of the Nelson College. Mr. Searle, who is 40 years of age, an old boy of the Waita'ki High School and Otago University, served in the war and was awarded the N.Z.E.F. scholarship at Cambridge, where he qualified B.A. and M.A. and was awarded F.G.S. < London). He also holds the M.Sc. degree (New Zealand) and is in addition the possessor of outstanding athletic and rifle shooting records.
