GAMING ACT BROKEN. [ P«r Press Association. J WELLINGTON, May 17. A charge against John O’Halloran, aged 41, barman, of carrying on business as a bookmaker was withdrawn to-day. He pleaded guilty to the substituted charge of using the bar of the Clarendon Hotel as a common gaming house and was fined £3O.
