ACTIONS IN SUPREME COURT DECREES NISI GRANTED Petitions for divorce were dealt with in the Supreme Court at Wanganui yesterday by His Honour, the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers. A decree absolute was granted in the application of Doris Josephine Woon (Mr. C. F. Treadwell) against Charles George Woon.

A decree nisi was granted, to be moved absolute after the expiration of three months. Martha Bird (Mr. Hussey), petitioned for dissolution of marriage from Charles Newsome Bird (Mr. Haggitt), on the grounds of adultery. Petitioner stated that she was married on March 13, 1907, to respondent at Palmerston North. There were three children of the marriage. After marriage they lived in Wanganui. In lengthy evidence she referred to misconduct on the part or respondent. A decree nisi was granted, to be moved absolute after 'three calendar months, with custody of one child. Costs were awarded petitioner on the highest scale.
