Congress now announces an extern sion of the suspension of civil disobedience for six weeks, but despite Mr. Gandhi’s appeal the Government of India states that the situation is unaltered and unless Congress fulfils unqualifiedly the conditions previously laid down the release of political prisoners will not be entertained. ATTACK OF NAUSEA. FAST WILL PROVE FATAL. Received Mav JO, 11.5 p.m. CALCUTTA, May 10. Gandhi suffered a severe attack of rausea, which caused alarm. Later he improved. There is no immediate cause for anxiety, but the indication of his weakness is making it more certain that he will not survive if he continues tis fast.
