VERY GOOD BARGAIN
SWEETS FOR £5O RING The young sou and a youthful nephew of a rich man in Mexico City recently exchanged a diamond ring, worth £5O, for a farthing’s worth ol sweets. Tho sweet snop proprietress declared that she thought the ring was valueless, and gave tho boys a small bag of sweets in exchange for it as she was kind-hearted. Charges against the proprietress ami the boys were dropped when tho busi ness man got back his ring and paid the farthing for the sweets.
