THE RAETIHI SALE Messrs. Freeman R. Jackson and Co., Ltd., report on their recent fortnightly sto/k sale held at Raetihi on Friday as follows: In spite of the boisterous weather prevailing for some days previous to and on the day of sale, we penned a good yarding of nearly 2000 sheep. The offering comprised some good lines of lambs; these, together with wethers, were eagerly sought after. A lino of two-tooth wethers from the Murumuru district made Ils 6d. With the exception of a couple of small pens, tho whole was disposed of. Wo quote: Two-tooth wethers, Ils to 11s 6d; m.a. wethers, 9s 8(1, 10s 4d to Ils 6d; culls, 7s 3d; fair to good ewe lambs, 9s 6d to 10s; medium, 9s to 9s 6d; fair to good wether lambs, 6s 10(1. 6s lid, 7s 4d, 7s 6d to 8s; smaller, 5s 10s; culls, 3s 8d to 3s 10(1; mixed sox lambs (fair), 8s; small, 4s 4d to Gs 3d; aged in lamb owes, 6s 4d to 7s.
