KING’S ACCESSION
TWENTY-THIRD ANNIVERSARY. [ British bfficial Wireles?.] RUGBY, May 6. To-day is ,the twenty-third anniversary of the King’s accession. Flags were flown on Government and public buildings in honour of the event and a salute of twenty-one guns was fired at Hyde Park at noon. Their Majesties, who returned to Buckingham Palace from Windsor yesterday, are spending the day quietly, no special celebrations being held.
