MR HOLLAND’S VIEW HIGH COMMISSIONER SHOULD ACT. [ Per Press Association. 1 CHRISTCHURCH, May 6. Exception to either the Prime Minister or the Minister of Finance going to the World Economic Conference in London was taken bv the Loader of the Opposition (Mr H. E. Holland) at Kaianoi Inst evening. “Enough harm was done at Ottawa to last for a year or two,” said Mr Holland. “Whatever Mr Forbes could do or Mr Coates ‘could do, or both could do, the High Commissioner could do equally well. It would save the cost of sending them there, and probably save the country from coming to a groat deal of harm while they wore away. (Laughter), The harm done at Ottawa has made the country dubious about sending them on another excursion.”
