OTAKI-MAORI RACING CLUB
KING’S BIRTHDAY MEETING. NOMINATIONS DUE FRIDAY. The Otaki Maori Racing Club will hold their winter meeting on Friday and Saturday, June 2 and 3, and the fixture should attract a considerable amount of support. There will be a hack hurdle race each day, while the Ruakawa Cup (£175) will be the principal handicap event tho first day, the big handicap on tho second day being the Ta Timi Kara Handicap (of £130). The open sprints carry £llO each in stake money. Nominations for all events arc due to close on Friday next, May 12, at 8 I p.m.
