WILSON CUP MATCH WANGANUI RETAIN TROPHY. PLAY AT HOKOWHITU. Playing their first match of the season for the Wilson Cup at tho Hokowhitu links, the Wanganui Golf Club retained the trophy by five games to four, three games being halved. Under the rules governing the trophy the match was played on the links of the challengers, the Mana warn Golf Club. PLAY AT CASTLECLIFF WAVERLEY VISITORS. FIRST INTER-CLUB MATCH. The first inter-club match of the season at the Castlecliff links was played on Saturday in fine, though gusty weather, with an occasional showers. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent.
