PURCHASE OF WHEAT
RESTRICTIONS ON MILLS BOARD IN EXPLANATION [ Per Press Association. ] CHRISTCHURCH, May 5. Referring to a statement made at a meeting of tho Chamber of Commerce last night that some mills were noi allowed to buy wheat in unrestricted quantities, the Wheat Purchase Board has issued a statement that the ques tioj raised is at present tho subject of negotiation, and it would, there fore, be most improper Tor the board to make rny comment, until the negotiations arc completed. Tho parties will meet at Wellington next week.
