CRICKET
AS BATSMAN AND BOWLER BRADMAN AT BERRIMA. Don Bradman played again, the other day, in the Berrima district, in which his early days were spent. This appearance was for the St. George Club, Sydney, in a match with Berrima district. He hit 11 sixes and 16 fours in scoring 152. He also did some bowling, but when an opponent trod on his wicket in playing at a ball from Bradman the umpire was not looking. The umpire was Bradman’s father.
