METROPOLITAN UNION MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. COMPLAINT BY REFEREE. A meeting of the Management Committee of the Wanganui Metropolitan Bugby Union was held last evening. Mr. C (Danielson presiding. There were also present Messrs. N. Dyke, H. Whiting, A. Takarangi, A. Lockett, J. Cotterill, L. Southcombe, W. B. McElwain, Nauman (primary schools) and the secretary, Mr. C. S. Swan. It was decided to approve the Kaiwhaiki Club’s jersey. Mr. Whiting and Mr. Dyke are to wait on the principal of t' Intermediate School, with a view to the school entering the sixth grade competition. The matter of the primary school representative match with Taranaki is to be brought before the Wanganui Bugby Union. Permission was given G. Carveil to be regraded to third grade and W. Morgan to fourth grade. The Kaierau Club’s application for P. Stowers to be reclassified to junior grade was referred to the Classification Committee. Mr. McElwain reported the remarks of W. Meremere, captain of the Katana team, to the referee. Mr. B. McCrae, after the match with the Pirates’ team last Saturday. It was decided that the matter be held over to the Union’s next meeting, to take place on Tuesday, and Mr. McCrae and Meremere be asked to attend. . c , , , The request of the Primary School Association that the Recreation Ground be used once a fortnight was referred to the Grounds Committee.
