ACCLIMATISATION WORK
WANGANUI SOCIETY MEETS. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The annual meeting of the Wanganui Acclimatisation Society was held I last evening. Air. H. J. Duigan presiding over a good attendance. The annual report and balance-sheet were read and adopted. Officers fur the coming year were elected as follows:—Patron, Air. J. Allison; president, Air. H. J. Duigan; vicepresidents, Messrs. T. H. James. J. Sealey, and 11. R. Beauchamp; council. Messrs. J. Dunlop. A. S. Hardy, H. C. Rose. H. Manguson, R. S. Withers, L. Ghepherd, A. H. 1 oe. J. H. Von Haast, J. Williams. R. P. Giblin. A. F. Healey. H. R. Quarterman. S. Brooking, B. F. O'Brien: hon. solicitor. Air. W. Izard; bon. auditor. Air. I’. Ballingall.
