GENERAL A team of riflemen from the Mangaweka Rifle Club visited Kimbolton on Saturday and took part in that club s annual handicap shoot. Very boisterous weather prevailed, making matters most difficult for shooting. However, the local team met with a great deal of success with seven riflemen carrying off a fair share of tho prize money. Heavy and consistent rain has fallen in the Mangaweka district since Friday night and the weather has taken a decided turn toward winter. There is still a good growth of feed for stock and this will go a long way toward carrying them through the winter. Although the weather was unsettled, a fair number of players were present at the Golf Club’s euchre tournament on Friday evening. Tho annual reunion of the Mangaweka and District Returned Soldiers is to be take place on Wednesday evenin*..
