The work of the Karitane Products Society was reviewed by Sir William Hunt at last week’s provincial conference of tho Plunket Society, held in Wellington. The manufacture of the Society’s products had been commenced solely with the idea of rendering a. service to the community, said Sir William. It was necessary at the outset to have finance, and that had been furnished largely by friends of Sir Truby King. So a registered society was formed, which paid no dividends or fees.
