MEETING OF MINISTERS. TALK OF NEW TRADE TREATY. PARIS, Aug. 29. There is much speculation regarding the meeting of MM. Hcrriot and Chautemps Myer (Minister of Mercantile Marine) with Sir Herbert Samuel at Jersey. Ostensibly M. Herriot is on a pleasure trip, but there is an impression that the Ministers will take the opportunity to discuss with Sir H. Samuel the prospects for a new FrancoBritish trade treaty. Sir H. Samuel says that the meeting has no political significance.
