OLD POTTERY DISCOVERED A schoolgirl at Bautley, in Hampshire, has been instrumental in bring ing to light several hundred potsherds made in the middle ages. She discovered a. broken piece of pottery which her schoolmaster promptly showed a local fellow of the Society of Antiquaries. This expert immediately iden titled it as belonging to the fifteenth century and the scene of the discovery was investigated without delay. 11 is said that a number of interesting -finds arc accordingly being submitted Io the British Museum
