LAST BIG TUNNEL
STRATFORD-MAIN TRUNK LINE [ Per Press Association.] NEW PLYMOUTH, July 31. The beginning of the end of the construction on the Stratford to Main Trunk Railway was reached yesterday, when 52 chains of tunnel were pierced. This is the last big tunnel on the line, and brings the end of the work in sight.
