Jewellery novelties, most of them smart and attractive, continue to be seen on all sides in the West End (States a London writer).
A new idea in rings is one which runs up from the base of the linger to the nail, like the jointed finger of an armoured gauntlet of the knights of the Middle Ages. It is held on by three bands, one for each joint of the finger. Other rings I have seen, lately include some designed so that they expand. One half of the band slips gently inside the other half, so there is no break in the line of the band —a disadvantage of the old type of expanding ring.
