AUCKLAND PROVINCIAL FINAL WANDERERS BEAT Y.M.C.A. [ Ter Frees Association.] HAMILTON, July 30. In the Auckland provincial soccer final for the Chatham Cup at Hamilton Wanderers defeated Auckland Y.M.C.A. by one goal to nil. Auckland had the better of the game territorially, but their movements lacked finish. Their combination in open play, was more effective than the Wanderers, who shone in defence. There was no score at the interval. Early in the second spell Stewart goaled lor his side, which developed improved combination in the latter stages of the game. Wanderers played a man short after Schonan was injured early in the game. Wanderers will meet Wellington Marist in the North Island final.
