DAMAGES AWARDED
MOTOR ACCIDENT SEQUEL [ Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, July 29. The jury awarded £347 4s 7d special damages and £325 general damages in a claim arising out of a collision at a Newtown intersection wherein Mrs Irene Addis Smith was knocked down and injured by a car driven by Mrs Caroline Priscilla Purdie. Mr Justice MacGregor refrained from entering judgment for Mrs Smith in the meantime, pending argument of a non-suit point.
