RAIN SPOILS TEST TRIAL NO PLAY ON OPENING DAY. ALL INDIA IN DRAWN GAME, LONDON, July 28. There was no play to-day in the Test cricket trial owing to rain. The match between tho All-Indian team and Northumberland was drawn. The scores were: All-India 101 (Allen five for 32) and 138 for eight wickets, declared; Northumberland 143 and 45 for two wickets.
