SACRIFICE AND EXAMPLE

Without doubt there exist technical problems in disarmament, reparations and treaties, but before and above all this there exists the human problem and to put the human factor aside in favour of technical and juridical formulas means the negation of history. Sacrifice is demanded—and example. Example is the sole means of solving the crisis of confidence. ri
