Golding (Australia) Stoneley (Britain) and Barr (U.S.A.) have been drawn in the same heat of the 400 metres running event at the Olympic Games. NURMI’S ENTRY REJECTED “GOOD AND SUFFICIENT ’’ GROUNDS Received July 29, 11.5 p.m. LOS ANGELES, July 28. The International Amateur Athletic Federation late on Thursday voted to bar Paavo Nurmi, of Finland, from the Olympic Games and rejected his entry The question of declaring Nurmi a professional did not enter into the action. The commission merely rejected his entry on what it considered good and sufficient grounds and closed the case.
