RUGBY FOOTBALL The Mangaweka Football Club has decided to hold a dance in Phillips’ Hall on Friday, August 19. The music will be supplied by Carrington’s orchestra. All players are notified that a practice game will be played on the Domain to-day. GOLF The draw for the club championship lias been finalised, and members arc requested to play their games as soon as possible. The following is the result of the draw:—First round: L. A. Bailey v. R. Bunker; H. Waymouth c. Warrilow; W. Watson v. J. Failover; H. Westwood v. J. O’Callaghan. Second round: Rev. Bergin v. A. Antwiss; T. Stroud v. J. Kidd; D. Barrell v. F. Rowley; H. Johnston v. M. Sutherland; I. Dickson v. K.» O’Callaghan; J. Bunker v. T. Pairman. 1.0.0. F. The usual fortnightly meeting of the Mangawcka Lodge was held in the Lodge Hall on Thursday evening, Bro: P. Daubney, N.G., presiding over a fair attendance of members.
