TWO YOUTHS INJURED

VAN AND TRAIN COLLIDE [ Per Pre»n Association.] AUCKLAND, July 28. Two youths were injured, one sori* ously, in a level crossing collision between a motor-van and a suburban train, near Takanini station this afternoon. Tho driver of the van, Ronald Leslie Watson, aged 18, of Papakura, roceived a fracture of two ribs, laceration of a leg and shock, and was admitted to a private hospital at Papakura. His companion, William Neill Kidd, aged 17, of Papakura, received head injuries and fracture of a leg. Ha was removed to the Auckland Hospital, his condition being reported to bt serious.
