It was also decided that in future the teams shall march on the ground and cheer in turn, as that procedure would assist the referees to adjudicate as to punctuality and dress, The meeting of tho executive of the association was presided over by the same ehairman. • '

The Feilding Association forwarded a challenge for tho Norden Cup. Tho matter was referred to the match committoe.

The grounds committee was formed, tho members being Messrs. Oldridge. Spurdie and Pitkothley. Tt was also decided that the grounds at Gonville Pqrk should he rolled before Saturday if the weather is favourable. Tho Aramoho Ladies’ Club ask ml that their match against Ratana at Katana should he rcplavpd. The reason given was that the game had been stopped for a quarter of an hour to 20 minutes during the interval owing to rain and the condition of the ground. Though they protested against going on with the game, Aramoho held that the Ratana team insisted. After considerable discussion, in which motions wore ffioved that tho game should stand as at present, a win for Ratana. and that the game should be replayed, the mooting followed a suggestion from tho chairman that the ruling of the Now Zealand body should be sought as to whether the stopping of a game for a quarter of an hour would signify abandonment, and what would *be the position of the captain of one side and a referee wanted abandonment and the captain of the other side and the other referee favoured the continuation of the game. No action is to be taken before the receipt of the New Zealand Association’s hili ng. It was stated that referees were not applying tho advantage rule and the president of the Referees’ Association said he would bring the matter forward at the next meting of his association.
