QUESTION OF AN INCREASE. STATEMENT BY MIL FORBES. [ Per Press Association.J WELLINGTON, June 29. Ju connection with a statement attributed to Mr. McCombs, M.l*., the Hon. G. W. Forbes to-day denied that the Government had given any consideration to increasing the wage tax, and added that though it might yet be necessary to .supplement the unemployment funds, nothing could be done before Parliament met.
