GENERAL MANAGER APPOINTED. [ Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, June 29. An announcement that the New Zealand Broadcasting Board had appointed Mr. E. C. Hands as general manager, was made this evening by the chairman of the board, Mr. H. D. Vickery. Mr Hands who was formerly principal of the Telegraph Division, G.P.0., and has acted as general manager to the board since its inception. his services having been loaned by the Postmaster-General for that purpose. % Consequent upon his appointment as general manager, Mr. Hands has resigned his position in the Public Serfrice.
