INJURED BY FENCE

WOMEN AWARDED DAMAGES [ Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, June 28. Judgment for £26 special, and £2O general damages and costs was given by Mr. T. B. McNeil, S.M., to-day in favour of Daisy Monas and her daughter Thora Morias, who wore injured when part of the corrugated iron fence of the milk station in Tory Street fell on them. The magistrate said that although gusty, tho wind on that day was not extraordinary, and he thought the corporation should have constructed the fence in such a manner as to have resisted the wind of the force of that which was blowing on that day. He held that negligence on the part of tho corporation had been proved.
