DOMINION BREWERIES, LTD
The M'cuDd annual accounts of Dominion Breweries, Limited, Auckland, for the year ended March 31 disclose , a net prolit of £1044, compared with £4392 earned in the first year of operation, a decrease of £3348. The directors consider that under the prevailing conditions the results of the year s trading were highly satisfactory. With £1392 brought forward there was £2436 available and the •ii rec-tors recommended that £lOOO should be transferred to reserve, m(•ru. <ng this fund to £4OOO, and that the balance of £1436 should be carried forward. The report states that the output of the brewery hud been increased 40 per cent, during the year, which, in view of the tremendous falling off in the consumptive demand, was most gratifying.
