ADDITIONAL AWARDS Additional awards made at the National Jersey Show and sale at Palmerston North on Thursday were as follow: Yearling Heifers. Mrs A. Banks and Sons’ Woodstock Roma 1. Mr R. C. Milligan’s Jersey Oaks Doreen Lad. THE SALE BIDDING DULL. At the conclusion of the judging the animals were offered for sale. There was a good attendance, but the bidding was dull, many lines being passed. In most cases where the animals were sold at auction the vendor met the market at a fair figure below the re serve and in view of the quality and butter-fat backing of some of the offerings, purchasers of well-known breeds made good deals.
