Sir, —We would like gratefully to acknowledge to all those who have kindly donated parcels of clothing and provisions and leaving them at the Ladies’ Rest. We know many have depleted their wardrobes and arc yet sending parcels in, knowing full well every article is needed to help those who are loss fortunate than themselves. We are passing through hard times, but if each and everyone do their utmost to help our fellow creatures we shall be the happier. We are making an appeal for further help, material to make up, flannel, flannelette, tweed, or odd remnants will be very acceptable; in fact anything in the way of clothing. Perhaps spine one may have a bag of odd wools. We can get them made up into garments. We are deeply grateful to you all. Yours truly, E. A. DEXTER.
