BURNED TO GROUND
DWELLING AT WESTMERE HOUSE AND CONTENTS LOST Fire totally destroyed a live-roomed dwelling at Westmere last evening. The house was occupied by Mr aud Mrs T. I Waters, and was owned by Mr J. C. Gleeson, of New Plymouth. Nothing was saved. There had been nobody iu the house since early morning, Air ami Airs Waters being in the city, and the flames had a strong hold when the out break was discovered at about eight o ’clock. '.Pho house was situated on the Grange Road on the opposite side of the road to the “Lilybank” homestead. that being also owned by Mr Gleeson, ami was within a few hundred yards of the Westmere Railway Station. ______________
