CRUSHED UNDER DRAY [ Per Press Association.] PALMERSTON N., May 22. A distressing fatality occurred at Kauwhata on Saturday, when Bernie Robinson Bennett, the 14-months-old son of Air. At. R. Bennett, was acci dentally killed through falling from a heavy dray. Air. Bennett was carting soil in the vehicle on the farm and had scooped a hole in the load and placed his son securely in the corner. He had unfastened the gate and had looked to see if the child were iril right. He turned hi? back momentarily te lead the horse through and on looking round again found his son missbig from the dray He was shocked to find his son’s body, which had been crushed under the wheel of the dray.
