REPORT REGARDING WARNER. PLAYING IN AUSTRALIA. LONDON, May 4. “I am as surprised as if it wore suggested I should go to Australia again as a player,” said P. F. Warner, the former captain of England, com meeting on the report that he may go to Australia as manager of this year’s cricket team. “I have not yet been asked to accept the managership,” Mr. Warner added. “Nevertheless, I am delighted that Australia has received the suggestion so well. It is jolly nice of them. I couldn’t say whether T should go if invited. lam getting old and all that. sort, of thing. Vet I should like to pay another visit to Australia.’’
