WEAPONS FOR OFFENCE. WORLD CONFERENCE VIEW (New York Times Broadcast). GENEVA, May 18. All air armaments can bo used to some extent offensively, tho Air Commission of the World Arms Conference decided in a resolution, adding that the decision was without prejudice to dofensive uses. Previously the Commission had rejected by 22 votes to seven a German resolution classing all military aviation as offensive and subject to abolition or internationalhation. Tn a warm debate the German delegate cited the Versailles Treaty as abolishing . German military aviation because of its aggressive nature.
