LOSSES FOR THREE TEARS. Tho annual loss on the five hotels owned by tho Australian Government iu tho Federal Capital Territory amounted to £8371. £92 and £5477 during the financial years ended ’une 30, 1929, .1930 and 1931 respectively, exclusive of interest on capital, depreciation, maintenance, reserve and rates. During the last financial year the losses on the Hotels Acton, Wellington and Ainslie, which were unoccupied, totalled £14,889, including interest on capital and maintenance charges. The capital value of the five hotels, with their furniture, equipment and! grounds, was £409,487.
