EXTREME SOCIALIST. MADRID, May 7. Major Franco, the famous airman, is now one of ’the leaders of the extreme Socialists in the Spanish Parliament. Ho has declined Signor Mussolini’s invitation to attend a gathering of Atlantic fliers to be held at Rome, on the ground that Signor Mussolini represents a dictatorship, which is directly opposed to Franco’s political beliefs.
