LOSSES AT RACING
BANKRUPT QUESTIONED [ Per Press Association.] TIMARU, May 19. A meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Elwood Cuthbertson, restauranteur and former racehorse owner, was held to-day and lasted for over two Jiours. Bankrupt, was questioned at length regarding his racing transactions and dealings with financial firms. Bankrupt estimated that racing had cost him £lO,OOO in thiee yeajr. The creditors passed a motion that the papers be handed to tho Crown Solicitor with a view to proceedings.
